The ReignForest Estate is home to a vibrant farming community and, during our busiest seasons, supports the livelihoods of up to 250 employees and seasonal workers.
One of our first actions after taking over stewardship of the estate was to increase farmers’ salaries by 50%, helping to ensure that the people responsible for growing our ingredients share more meaningfully in the value they create.
We also undertook a comprehensive review of living and working conditions across the estate. This process continues today, guided by ongoing consultation with employees, families, and community members. Our focus is not simply employment, but dignity, wellbeing, and opportunity for all members of our community.
From housing improvements and access to essential facilities, to creating safer and more supportive working environments, we are committed to building a community where every individual can thrive.
This work is ongoing, but the foundations of a stronger, more empowered future are already being laid.
Reign is produced on an organic rainforest estate where sustainability is simply part of how we farm.
By cultivating our crops organically, we avoid the use of harmful synthetic pesticides and agricultural practices that can damage soil health, biodiversity, and surrounding ecosystems. Instead, we work with nature to protect the long-term health of the land that sustains us.
Nothing is wasted. After our sugarcane is pressed, the remaining fibre, known as bagasse, is recycled and used as a biofuel. We continue to explore new and innovative ways to transform agricultural by-products into valuable resources.
Most importantly, we are proud guardians of more than 30,000 trees. Portions of our estate are registered protected rainforest, preserving biodiversity and safeguarding an ecosystem that has stood for generations.
Every decision we make is guided by a belief that great spirits should not come at the expense of the environment. The rainforest that surrounds us is not simply where Reign is made. It is part of who we are.
Our journey is only beginning. As Reign grows, so too will our investment in people, community, and environmental stewardship. We are committed to improving our practices, and ensuring that growth creates lasting value for future generations.
